So, here I am. I’ve had this website for a while now, and I’m now starting to do something with it. For several years I’ve been promising myself that I would get myself out there more as a writer, and I’m finally starting to do something about it.

I love to write. And I’ve written a lot. I used to write fanfic. Still do on occasion. Back in the day, I wrote more that 200,000 words, and won a couple of awards for it. I suppose if you’re interested, I can tell you where it’s hiding, but only if you ask. But I’ve been more focused on my own works. I’ve drafted a novel, written short stories, and have more works-in-progress than you can shake a stick at. I’d finish more of them, but I spend most of the time working. At a job. Which I like, nay, even love, quite a bit. But it is a time suck. People always say to teachers “dude, you get three months off.” It’s only technically true. I need those three months to do all the things that I can’t do the rest of the year, because I’m too busy. Plus I work a summer job, and I do like to spend time with my wife and kids.
